CM makes available the Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon poster.

On December 18, a marathon will be held as part of Vedanta's Run for Zero Hunger.

In Jaipur, the honourable Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot unveiled the race's poster for the Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon. Hindustan Zinc will host the seventh edition of the Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon on December 18th, following the last half marathon that Vedanta hosted in Delhi as part of Run for Zero Hunger. Since 2017, Cairn Oil & Gas has collaborated with the Pink City Half Marathon to put on the event.

Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon poster, featuring the theme of a healthy Rajasthan, was unveiled by Gehlot. Arun Mishra, Chief Executive Officer of Hindustan Zinc, President of the Rajasthan Project for Cairn, Brigadier BS Shekhawat, and other authorities were present for the poster release. Information on the marathon was provided by Manoj Soni, executive of the organisation that organised it, Anybody Can Run.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's introduction of the Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon was acknowledged on this occasion by Chief Executive Officer of Hindustan Zinc, Arun Mishra. In his remarks, he emphasised the significance of the Run for Zero Hunger project for Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal's effort to rebuild society. The core of our company operations is transformation for a sustainable future. With the Nandghar project, we have made progress toward eliminating malnutrition in India. Another one of our efforts in the similar direction is this marathon.

In order to achieve the goal of Run for Zero Hunger, he urged every member of the Vedanta family to motivate their friends, family, and business associates to sign up for the Vedanta Pink City Marathon.

The run for zero hunger will include both a physical event at the Vedanta Pink City Half Marathon and virtual participation.

Hindustan Zinc is devoted to empowering women, providing access to safe drinking water, promoting agriculture and animal husbandry, fostering children's overall development through a variety of social activities in collaboration with Jeevan Tarang Zinc under its CSR programme.
